How to Remove Glitter Nail Polish Easily

Removing nail polish can be a little hard, but removing glitter nail polish – that can be a *real* pain.
Ever tried removing glitter nail polish with a nail polish remover? Well in that case you've probably encountered at least 1 of 5:

- The polish smudges all over your fingers.

- You feel like it's impossible to get off.

- You waste the whole bottle of acetone trying to get it off, but with no luck.

- Almost immediately, you swear off glitter nails for the rest of your life. (But who are we kidding, that never works.)

- OR: You succeed in removing it, which *obviously* means you're “inhuman” and “supernatural” . . .

. . . Or maybe you just tried the infamous trick:

How to remove glitter nail polish using tin foil:

-Supplies- Cotton balls, nail polish remover, and foil.

First cut your foil into 10 strips.

Next apply polish remover to one of your cotton balls.

Then center the cotton balls on your piece of foil.

Start wrapping your foil over your nail. (Wrap one side over then the other.)

            Then fold top excess down.

It will look something similar to this:

Repeat for all 10 nails. (It might be tricky the first time you do this so you may only want to so one hand at a time.)

Let the foil sit on your nails for 5‒8 minutes. Then pinch the foil on your nail and slowly slide it off, and viola! your nails will be clean!

Although this method works perfectly, we've all heard the saying, “Prevention is Better than Cure”.

So, working by this saying, here is a trick you can use to peel the polish easily, no acetone required.

Skip the base coat, and use white glue (Elmer's works well) instead. Follow with coats of your favorite glitter polish. When you are ready to remove the polish, it will peel right off.
